We start by responsibly sourcing the best quality Tigerwood from sustainable producers in South America. Every step in our Tigerwood hardwood decking and home siding supply chain—from harvest to the end consumer—meets rigorous criteria for social, economic, and environmental responsibility.
Properly Kiln-Dried for Greater Stability
Through extensive testing and research, we’ve developed specific drying schedules that ensure the stability and strength of our materials for consistent quality and performance. Our nationally available hardwood decking materials are dried to 8% +/- 3SD, which minimizes the chance of cracking, cupping, or shrinking and ensures that they will hold a beautiful finish for years to come—with or without treating.
Patented Hidden Fastening System
To create a complete hardwood decking system, we developed the world’s first integrally designed hidden fastening system for use with hardwoods. Our patented Black Talon® hidden fastening system eliminates the need for pre-drilling and makes installation fast and efficient. Our unique, stainless steel design increases construction efficiency, minimizes the need for repair, and extends lifespan over decks with screw down or other fastening systems.

About TigerDeck®
TigerDeck® is a leading supplier of premium Tigerwood decking, siding, porch flooring, paneling, and hardwood products. Founded by lumber industry experts, we have spent more than 20 years researching Tigerwood, refining our manufacturing methods, and developing a complete hardwood decking system designed for lasting beauty and performance.
Not all Tigerwood products are created equal. TigerDeck® works with established suppliers in South America that follow responsible harvesting practices and our exacting standards for quality. Tigerwood is a relatively fast-growing tropical hardwood and is not listed as an endangered species under CITES regulations.
Proper kiln drying is critical to the stability of Tigerwood. Through extensive testing and real-world experience, we developed specialized drying schedules that reduce the risk of excessive movement, cupping, cracking, and shrinking. Our materials are carefully processed, dried, and graded to provide consistent quality for exterior and interior applications.
TigerDeck® combines premium hardwood deck boards with the patented Black Talon® Hidden Fastening System. This stainless-steel fastening system eliminates the need for visible surface screws, simplifies installation, and allows the boards to naturally expand and contract while remaining securely in place.

Tigerwood is known for its dramatic grain, dark striping, and warm red, orange, and brown tones. It is naturally resistant to insects, rot, decay, and harsh weather, making it an excellent choice for decks, docks, porches, siding, and other demanding applications.
When left untreated outdoors, Tigerwood gradually develops a smooth silver-gray patina. A quality finish with UV protection can be applied when preserving its rich natural color is preferred.
